Trust
A child’s story should be private. Always.
Kairos is being built so that the people closest to a child — their educators and their family — are the people who shape, review, and share their story. Trust is not a feature. It is the foundation of the product.
Our promises
Child data protection
Children’s information is handled with care. Parents only see their own child’s information. Cross-child visibility is restricted to authorised centre staff.
Parent access boundaries
Parents can only see their own child. Group photos and stories are reviewed by educators before any sharing.
Role-based permissions
Educators, directors, owners, parents, and admins each see what is appropriate to their role. Centre directors stay in control of who sees what.
Educator review before publishing
AI drafts are not published automatically. An educator reviews, edits, and approves every story before it reaches a family.
AI supports, does not replace
AI assists with the first draft. Educator judgement remains the source of truth for every published story and every family conversation.
Data export and deletion
Centres remain owners of their data. Export and deletion controls are part of the product roadmap and will be available before public launch.
What this means in practice
Plain language, no fine print.
Privacy is opt-in for every story
Stories that include photos or identifying information are reviewed by educators before publishing. A centre director can adjust sharing scope at any time.
Parents see their own child only
A parent account is linked only to their own child. Parents do not see other children’s names, photos, or stories.
AI never publishes on its own
AI prepares drafts. An educator must review and approve before any story is shared with a family. AI is not a safeguarding, medical, psychological, or legal authority.
Centres own their records
Documentation belongs to the centre and the educators who created it. Kairos provides the platform; centres remain in control of permissions and records.
Privacy questions go to a real person
For privacy questions, write to hello@kairos.edu.lk. Real humans review every message.
Trust before logos.
We will publish our first partner stories only after real centres have used Kairos and given permission to share their experience.
